Aaron Rowe Alpharetta Concert reviews
Good Show in a Grand Old Theatre
Good to see exactly 2 years to the day after the original concert was cancelled at the beginning of the pandemic Aaron Rowe! The Warner Theatre in D.C. continues to be an excellent venue: vintage, crystal chandeliers, gold leaf bas-relief, and not a bad seat or sound in the house.
It was somewhat a of surprise that the first half of the show was from "The Mission" and after a few songs the audience seemed to become reconciled to that fact, and amped up the energy a bit. The second half of the show included the hits and ended up really fun.
One fellow rather nailed it when he acknowledged the "rock and a hard place" for classic rock bands who are producing new music and wanting to perform it, whereas the majority of fans might just want to hear familiar songs from the soundtrack of their lives. It was interesting to listen to other concert goers as we walked to the Metro after the show.
